Coronavirus Covid-19 update

in Active Office News March 24, 2020

As the COVID-19 outbreak is having such a huge impact on all of our lives, we want to keep you updated with the steps we’re taking to support our customers, staff and ensure the safety of our community.

Our latest update (Tuesday 24th March):

Office Supplies

We are still very much open for you all, with our website running 24/7 and our usual customer service team all setup to work remotely. We plan to keep it this way for as long as possible.

Deliveries and Logistics

We are currently making deliveries to all of our customers. The guidance that has been advised is that the coronavirus does not last long on objects such as parcels. You are not at risk of contracting these kinds of viruses and regular hand washing is recommended using soap and water.

Are deliveries running on time?
Mostly, yes. We are doing everything we can to keep everything running smoothly so that you get what you have ordered on the usual time frame, however this may change. We will post updates online for you so please keep checking.

New Home Delivery Service
To further assist our customer we have recently introduced home delivery to allow easy delivery to remote/work at home employees. This new service is free for individual orders of £30+vat or available for a small delivery charge on smaller orders. Our customer services team will arrange this with you if required while processing your order, or alterntively please leave details on the customer notes box when ordering online.

Collections and Print Centre

Following government recommendation, we decided to close our showroom / customer collection area, including our Print Centre. Due to the closure please contact our Customer Service team for any queries you may have.

IT Managed Services and Technology

We have implemented remote working business plans to ensure that we will continue to provide support services through this trying time. There should be little to no disruption to the availability of support, account management or general customer service.

Further updates or changes

You and our staff are our top priority, so we are responding to changes daily in line with advice from the Government and the NHS, while remaining committed to maintaining the same level of great service for as long as we can.

We will keep you up-to-date online, via email and on our social channels.
